In addition, Alissa has participated in many of the Town’s forums, workshops, and focus groups, including the 2020 Housing Production Plan, the Climate Action Plan, the South Acton Vision and Action Plan, the Powder Mill Road Corridor Initiative, the Great Road Revitalization Plan, Great Road Complete Streets Forum, and the Open Space and Recreation Plan update.
In this video, Alissa outlines the objectives of a Citizen Petition to fund an analysis of the economic feasibility of creating an affordable rehab housing trust in Acton. This article passed with an overwhelming majority at the 2022 Annual Town Meeting, and the Regional Housing Services Office has created a Scope of Work to begin this analysis.
